Kitui Flour Mills is a flour milling company with over 30 years experience in the industry. The company’s main goal has been to transform family meals and households, united and fortified by love, loyalty, sharing and solidarity.

The Challenge

How could we give the youth in the marginalized parts of Kenya an opportunity to showcase and market their talents and skills to positively impact their lives and the society?

The Solution

We developed the Ujuzi Mtaani website. A platform for the youth to display their talents and work for free. The platform also provided an opportunity for them to interact with mentors and engage with fellow youth.

The Result

The youth who make up 70% of the population are immensely talented but lack enough opportunities to showcase their talents and skills to the world. ble.

The youth especially from the marginalized region now have a chance to freely showcase their talents and express themselves artistically exposing them to more opportunities. Over 50 youth and counting have benefited from the initiative.

DMA Awards, the leading and first of its kind award recognition platform celebrating the very best of digital marketing and technology advancement in Kenya awarded Ujuzi Mtaani for Best Brand Microsite and Best Campaign For Social Good.
