From ‘Snack’ to ‘Supper’Indomie noodles are the go-to instant meal for students in Kenya. But they needed to be more. The perception that Indomie noodles were a snack, not a substantive meal, was clearly limiting the brand’s potential in the market. Photography that placed Indomie at the heart of main meals was the solution. Indomie was pictured as the accompanying carbs for multiple meals, replacing more traditional foods. Dragonfly presented these to the market in a print advertising campaign.
